Camp 4 Blend Coffee (med/dark roast)
Introduced less than a year ago, this medium/dark roasted coffee quickly became our top seller thanks to it’s versatility, high caffeine content, and bold body. A balance of lower-elevation Brazilian and high-elevation Colombian shade-grown beans, this coffee is a show stopper. It’s versatility comes from the inherent complexity of the combined coffees, which boasts both earthy and sweet notes. Brewed as a pour-over, you might notice the subtle hints of semi-sweet chocolate, and distant echoes of exotic spices. Additionally, this blend is as good as a cold-brew as it is an espresso. When brewed overnight as a cold brew, the sweetness stands out while the acidity flattens out, providing an incredibly refreshing mood-booster on hot days. We’ve enlisted the skills of a master barista to experiment with this as an espresso roast, and now it’s the only thing he brews at home.
Whatever your preferred brewing method, you won’t be disappointed.
This coffee is available as pre-ground or whole bean in 16oz. bags, 11.8oz. bags (for low-cost shipping), or as 100 gram cold-brew pouches for a convenient ready-made option to brew a liter of your own delicious cold-brew at home.

Since the mid-20th century, Camp 4 has been a base camp of nearly mythical proportions. Located in Yosemite Valley, this unassuming little campground with no drive-in sites is where the pioneers of rock climbing would stay, sometimes for months, sharing ideas, creating new routes, and launching death-defying attempts up the great monolithic granite faces of El Capitan and Half Dome.
Now a National Historic Landmark, it still bears a palpable mystique due to the chalk-stained boulders that punctuate the campground and the generations or climbers and adventurers that have called it home.
Likewise, Camp 4 uniquely embodies Distant Mountains Bread and Coffee’s three core values to create, motivate, and inspire the next generation of explorers, adventurers, and innovators.
